One of the first steps in teaching your dog new skills is teaching you! Learning the skills to clearly communicate between dog and human takes time and education. Black Jack Dog Training wants to improve your dog’s skill set, but also boost your confidence while at the other end of the leash. We value human education; all of our training programs incorporate hands on learning and other teaching aids to ensure we meet your training goals.

There are many methods to dog training in our society today. We lead you with methods backed by science to create long lasting results. Black Jack Dog Training uses the Least Intrusive Minimally Aversive (LIMA) approach to dog training which focuses on the use of Positive Reinforcement to train new skills and modify existing behaviors.

BEHAVIOR CONSULTATION
We are excited to meet you! Our Behavior Consultation allows for an in person meeting to better understand the troublesome behaviors you are experiencing with your dog.
The consultation is held in the comfort of your own home. In our 1 to 2 hour meeting, we will dive into your training goals. We will also create a holistic wellness plan to meet the needs of you and your dog to start implementing strategies right away! Consultations are not required but may be necessary depending on you and your dogs needs.
PRIVATE TRAINING PROGRAMS
Maybe you rescued a new dog that has finally settled in or you have a younger pup that completed some basic training in the past, but you are discovering new challenges as they continue to grow that puppy class didn't prepare you for. We get it! Adolescents dogs and new additions can be tricky as you both learn and grow together. Our Private Programs offer one on one support and education to work through these challenges and set you and your dog up for lifelong success.

DAY TRAINING
We understand that life has a lot to throw at you and your schedule can be very busy. This can stop lots of dog owners from making change and implementing new training skills. You just can't find the time! Day Training allows you to balance work, life and your dog by delegating a majority of the training to us! Think board and train program without the boarding. You still get to keep your furry friend at home with you through out the program and will still receive quality hands on education on your end.
